Guidelines for the Authors

1. Themes: 

   - Ensure your essay aligns with the specified themes (Modern Literary Thoughts, Future of Literature,  Digital Literature, Nature and Literature, Scientific Mind and Literary Heart and other literary thoughts) for the March 2024 contest. Deviating from the theme may result in disqualification. Title should be within 3 to 4 words.

2. Word Count:

   - Submissions must be between 1000 to 1500 words. Entries exceeding or falling below this range will not be considered.

3. Language:

   - All essays must be written in English. Ensure clarity, coherence, and proper grammar throughout your piece.

4. Formatting:

   - Use a standard font (Times New Roman) with 12-point size.

   - Include page numbers and adhere to standard margins.

5. Submission Format:

   - Submit your essay in a PDF format. Ensure the document is labeled with your full name and the title of your essay.

6. Originality:

   - Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Ensure your work is original, and properly cite any references used.

7. Submission Deadline:

   - The deadline for submissions is 18th February 2024. Late entries will not be considered.

8. Eligibility:

   - The contest is open to participants of all ages and backgrounds. 

9. Judging Criteria:

   - Of all the essays, only 30 essays will be evaluated based on creativity, relevance to the theme, clarity of expression, originality, and adherence to guidelines.

10. Submission Process:

    - Submit your essay via email to  submit2wingsofwords@gmail.com with the subject line: "March Essay Contest 2024 Submission - [Your Full Name]."

    - Include your contact information (full name, address, phone number) in the body of the email.

11. Confirmation:

    - Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation within 10 days, please contact: 7908000263

12. Prizes and Certificates:

    - Winners will be announced on 25th  March 2024. E-certificates will be given to all the selected participants.

13. Publication:

    - All the essays will be compiled in the form of a book and published with ISBN.  Winning essays may be published on Wings of Words. Non-winning entries will not be published without the author's consent. The book will be available on Amazon.in and Flipkart.com. Since we are not seeking submission charges, we are unable to provide any author copies to the participants.

14. Rights:

    - By submitting your essay, you grant Wings of Words the right to publish and display your work.
